What is FREAK THE VOTE! ?
FREAK THE VOTE! is a 3 month movement strategy to create awareness of the BEAT FREAKS participation on Mtv’s America’s Best Dance Crew. We are a pro-bono, non-profit grassroots movement of Fans who are Students, Philosophers, Marketers, Designers, DJs, Dancers, Housewives, Grandfathers, CEOs, Parents, etc…that believe in the talent and message of the BEAT FREAKS and want to share it with the world. Our campaign is fully funded by a tireless and passionate pro-bono work ethic and also from the sales of the FREAK THE VOTE shirts, where the profits don’t go into our pockets, but is fully redirected back into the FREAK THE VOTE! campaign we are so dedicated to. Hey Beat Freaks….I just love you ladies so much. You’re an inspiration to ladies all over. When someone may tell a young lady no they can’t make it in the industry of dance, looking at you ladies they can now say yes they can. Each week that you all performed was a kick ass performance. Especially week 5 which will be my favorite performance by far it is my favorite so much that I have it on my T-mobile google G1 phone/youtube video and I play it every day and this week you really brought it. You ladies rock no doubt and I will be FREAKING MY VOTE all this week, this weekend, up to the very end. You are AMERICA’S BEST DANCE CREW. Oh, one last thing i’m on a fan of yours of course and i’m on your facebook page. My name is Edward.I am from Indonesia.I am a national junior pool(billiard) player.I want to share with you how you inspired me and made me a better person. The first time i watch beat freaks was at my billiard club. I was practicing as usual. I was amazed,i have never like dancing and this was the first time i like it.
I have been a pool player for 4 years now,i have many tittles but 2008 bwas a bad year for me. I didn’t shine and i was depressed. I was thinking,”Is it the end of my career?”Can’t i shine no more?Is it the end?Should i give up? I am the 2007 asian and world junior champion. But recently i have not been playing like one. I have no mentality and strength. I have a dream one day that i could buy my mom a house.
In short,When you girls performed each week,i followed it through. I can feel that you girls are trying to send out a message.What i captured was believe and pursue your dreams no matter what it takes. I felt you girls,it gave me new strength and recently i won 2 international tournaments and i bought my mom a house last week. I am happy, and i know its not the end.I know a dream would be true if we want it!Thanks Beat Freaks!
